Terms of Use

1. Service

Nyanbyte compresses, compares and saves videos on your device without an account. Photo access requires permission. You can compress and save one video free; after that free save, additional compression requires a paid plan. The free opportunity is used only after a successful save.

2. Plans and payment

Prices and billing periods are shown by the App Store or Google Play. Both plans offer the same features, without per-video or per-GB fees.

Purchases by minors require a legal representative’s consent. Without it, the minor or representative may cancel the purchase as permitted by law.

• Monthly subscription: renews automatically each month. Cancel through your store before renewal.
• Lifetime access: one payment for the purchased compression, comparison and saving features for as long as the service operates. Cancel any existing monthly subscription separately.
• Restore purchases with the same store account. Access cannot be transferred between Apple and Google stores.
• Price and payment changes are announced in advance and follow applicable notice and consent procedures.

3. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel renewal in your store settings; access continues until the paid period ends. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription, and cancellation is separate from a refund.

Under Korean law, the withdrawal period is generally seven days from receipt of the contract information, or from the start of service if later; other statutory start dates apply where relevant. Withdrawal from digital content already supplied may be restricted only when statutory conditions, including prior notice, are met.

If the service differs from its description or contract, you may request withdrawal within three months of supply and within 30 days of discovering, or being able to discover, the discrepancy.

Request withdrawal or a refund through the purchasing store or our support contact. Refunds follow statutory deadlines and store procedures; store policies do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

After access expires, saved videos and reviewing, saving or recovering results already created remain available.

4. Your videos

Quality and savings depend on the video, settings and device. Back up important videos and review the result.

Original deletion requires your approval and may sync to other devices. For replacement, verified compressed results are kept in the app while original deletion is requested, then compressed videos are saved to your photo library. If saving cannot finish, the app protects its results for recovery. Uninstalling may permanently remove local work history and unsaved results.

5. Rights and acceptable use

Video rights remain with you or their lawful owners. Rights infringement, payment manipulation and security attacks are prohibited.

The app and brand belong to the operator or their respective owners. Apple’s standard EULA applies to iOS; open-source components retain their own licenses.

6. Changes, closure and liability

We announce changes to these terms, their reasons and effective date in the app or website at least seven days in advance, or 30 days for adverse changes, and obtain consent where required. Material service changes are also announced in advance; urgent outage or security measures may be announced afterwards.

If paid services close or purchased core features become unavailable, we provide legally required refunds or other remedies, considering unused subscription time and the use and purchase conditions of lifetime access. A terms update alone does not extinguish existing access.

We are responsible under applicable law for harm attributable to us. Korean law applies; disputes may be brought before a court with lawful jurisdiction.
